Dr. Claus Bollschweiler

Dr. Bollschweiler has more than thirtyfive years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. He worked from 2004 to 2012 as Head of research for the identification, validation and production of performance biologicals (protein, enzymes, peptides) within the BASF growth cluster industrial biotechnology. From 2013 until his retirement in 2019 he was head of R&D for the production of industrial enzymes by fermentation within BASF White Biotech. Since 2007 he is also a lecturer at KIT Karlsruhe for “Industrial Biotechnology” within the faculty of Chemistry and Biosciences.
