Webinar: Genetic Humanization by OzBIG

Sep 17, 2026

Thinking about your next mouse model?

When humanising a mouse gene, replacing the coding sequence may only be part of the story.

Introns, regulatory elements and surrounding genomic context can also be important to how a gene behaves.

So the question becomes:

How much of the human genomic region does your research actually need?

With OzBIG, we can engineer large genomic replacements of up to 240 kb, opening the possibility of humanising substantially more of a target locus than with conventional approaches.

On 30 September, our scientists will explore how we approach these projects during our live webinar:

Genetic Humanisation by OzBIG
Complete transgenic replacement of any gene for improved preclinical translation

📅 30 September 2026
🕛 12:00 PM CEST
💻 Microsoft Teams

We’ll discuss what larger-scale humanisation can enable, how these models are designed, and examples of complex genomic replacement using OzBIG.

REGISTER FOR THE WEBINAR

Already have a target in mind?

Bring it with you.

We’ll have a live Q&A where you can ask our scientists about the feasibility and design considerations for your own humanisation project.

Can’t attend live? Register and we’ll send you access to the recording.

Hope to see you there!
